How to Add or Remove WWW from your WordPress URL

Remarkably, this is a very simple process within WordPress. Each time URL settings are saved in WordPress, the back-end will regenerate your permalinks and rebuild your database.

To Add or Remove WWW from your Site URL, simply follow these instructions:

1. Log into the WordPress Admin Dashboard (.../wp-admin)
2. Go to Dashboard > General Settings
   
   
3. Change the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) to whatever you're wanting. If you change the domain name itself, you may take your website offline.
4. Only change the domain name itself (the part AFTER the WWW - E.G. 'example.com') if you know what you're doing.
