Occasionally you may run into issues after completing the installation process. Whether it be something that isn't showing up properly, or a function not working on the website. This may happen due to the variants between hosting companies, and in most cases just requires a simple tweak or adjustment to get it working.

I'm Not Being Notified When Contact Form Submissions Sent

Sometimes the PHPMail() function in your WordPress environment is either not working, or disabled, and you will need to set up an external SMTP sender to deliver emails on behalf of your website. A common solution for this would be a solution like Mailgun. You can combine this with a tool like WP Mail SMTP by WPForms to complete this hookup.

Due to the extremely varying configurations found on different hosts and domain DNS configurations, we unfortunately do not provide support for SMTP services with our Theme Kits.

I'm getting 404 Pages when I try to Access a Page I Know is Published

Sometimes permalinks get messed up when making changes to things in the admin interface. Often times this is done by accident.

  1. Go to Settings > Permalinks
  2. Click Save
  3. Check if the issue is resolved

I accidentally deleted a template in the Theme Builder and I can't figure out how to recover it

Due to the limitations within WordPress and the Elementor builder, unfortunately there isn't a way to recover this.

  1. Go to Templates > Saved Templates
  2. Click on the Trash and restore the items that you wish to recover

There's No Excerpt Field Visible on my Projects or Services pages

Sometimes WordPress hides this by default. You will need to enable the viewing of the excerpt field using the steps below.

  1. Go to a project or service (depending on which you need to show the Excerpt field for) and click Edit
  2. In the upper-right corner, click the Screen Options dropdown
  3. Ensure that Excerpt is Checked
